Tiffany, born in 1971, became the debut young performer, whose debut album topped the Billboard magazine charts. At the very beginning of her career, Tiffany Rene Darvish sang country music. While performing in one of the Los Angeles nightclubs, Hoyt Exton noticed her. Later, under the guidance (or, one might say, under the supervision) of manager George Tobin, she signed a lucrative deal with the record company MCH and switched from country to pop music.
After the release of the album "Tiffany", the singer began a concert tour of America's supermarkets. At first, the change in musical direction and the unusual way of presenting the album did not produce any results. (Danny - the first single from the album - did not make it to the charts. However, by the fall of 1987, the song "I Think We Age Alone Now" - a cover of the kit "Tommy James and The Shondells" became the No. 1 single in the US. After that, Tiffany's career went uphill, and her album was approaching the top of the charts, threatening to displace Michael Jackson's "Bad". Another single "Could've Weep" was just as successful, and her cover version of Lennon and McCartney's song "I Saw Neg Standing Тhege "(I Saw Him Standing Тherе) was the last hit from this album.
